It is so hard to walk a different path than your bestie, role model parent, ...you name them. Especially when you like them so much. The care they splashed out on you, the love they enveloped you with, the nights they stayed up to keep you warm, and yes! the poop they had to clean! Now what's the issue here? BOOM, CLASH!!! Beliefs, religion! When I was still young, my parents used to take me to church. It was a must. Everybody had to attend Sunday mass. My parents were my role models, and I never questioned their instructions because I knew they choose what's best for me. As I grew up, I realized how much influence the priest had over the whole town. He talked to God. He knows how to live a righteous life. So we better listen to every word he says. He is a man of God after all. I soon realized I could read the Bible myself. I did, and I came up with different interpretations.
